The weather forecast indicates that an easterly wind flow is prevailing over the country. A trough of low pressure with associated clouds and showers is set to impact the region starting Wednesday. Expect cloudy periods accompanied by showers in areas such as Navua, Suva, Nausori, Tailevu North, Serua, Namosi, Naitasiri, Ra, southern Bua, eastern Macuata, Cakaudrove provinces, Kadavu, and nearby smaller islands, as well as Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Isolated heavy rainfall may occur, especially in the afternoon and evening. Other regions will experience mostly fine weather, with a chance of afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be moderate to fresh from the east, and seas are expected to be moderate to rough.

Regarding planned power shutdowns by EFL, the following areas will be affected:

– **Taveuni**: 8.00 am to 4.00 pm
Areas affected include Salia Area, Naiyalayala Settlement, Fatima Settlement, Naiqato Settlement, Navarada Settlement, Tavuki Village, Narusa Village, Lesuma, and Wairiki.

– **Labasa**: 8.00 am to 4.30 pm
Areas affected are Vunidawa, Coqeloa, and Waidamudamu.

– **Logani Village**: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
The entire Logani Road and Logani Village will be affected.

– **Wainiveidio Road, Navua**: 8.00 am to 6.30 pm
Areas affected include Wainiveidio Road, Wainiveidio Settlement, and Wainiveidio Village.

– **Soweri, Ba**: 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
Affected areas are Soweri Cemetery Road, Soweri Settlement, Kenani, Naidrodro, part of Field 3, and part of Vunisamaloa Area.

– **Drasa to Teidamu, Lautoka**: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
The affected areas include part of Drasa Dam Road, Drasa Lomolomo Area, and part of Teidamu Area.

– **Qalela to Natawa, Tavua**: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Areas affected are Qalela, Waikona, and Natawa Settlements.

– **Votualevu, Nadi**: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
Part of Votualevu and part of Nasau will be affected.

– **Sigatoka**: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
The Matovo Pumping Station will be affected.

For entertainment, “Devara Part 1” will screen at various times throughout the day at Life Cinemas in Nakasi, Labasa, Lautoka, and Nadi.
