Tilak High School’s Remarkable Comeback: 18 Years in the Making!

Tilak High School, located in Lautoka, recently celebrated a significant victory after winning the Fiji Secondary School Football Association (FSSFA) Digicel IDC for the first time in 18 years. Vinod Sharan, the head of the school, praised the team’s accomplishment, attributing it to their strong teamwork and collective effort.

“This achievement is the result of hard work, dedication, and planning,” Sharan stated, highlighting the importance of collaboration among the players. He reaffirmed that Tilak High School has regained the prestigious reputation it was known for, and the recent victory is a testament to the efforts of everyone involved.

Team captain Apisalome Ravouvou expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the team’s success. “I am deeply thankful for the support as we celebrate this great achievement,” he said. Ravouvou acknowledged the dedication of his fellow players and praised their hard work and commitment throughout the season.

He also extended thanks to the coaches and managers for their encouragement and belief in the team’s potential. Additionally, Ravouvou recognized the vital support from parents and guardians, contributing to their unity and determination to bring the trophy back to Tilak High School.
