The weekly Stapleford event at the Vatuwaqa golf course experienced lovely weather and welcomed a total of 90 participants yesterday.
Mohammed Buksh, the sponsorship chairman of Fiji Golf Club, expressed his appreciation for the impressive turnout and the favorable conditions, noting the tough competition in the previous week and expressing hope for an even larger turnout in the future.
“I am thrilled to see so many golfers out here enjoying the fantastic weather,” Buksh said. “Last week’s tournament was tough, but it only makes me more excited for the competition to come.”
Buksh also highlighted the growth of golf in Fiji and praised the sponsors for their support in making these tournaments possible. “I am hopeful for an even larger turnout in the future. I look forward to seeing more players join us and have a great time on the course.”
