Wardens Gold, the current champions of the Kadavu 7s, kicked off their tournament with a decisive 19-0 victory against Bularoos Rugby.

The Vatukoro Brothers also made a strong impression, defeating Midland with a score of 17-5, while Pegasus Lavidi 2 triumphed over Jonah Surf Malolo, winning 19-7.

Namuaniwaqa showcased their dominance by thrashing Naiova 19-0, and Fire Rugby won by default against Nawaka Rugby.

The host team, Malake, began their tournament on a positive note, narrowly defeating Viwa Rugby 7-5. In another close match, Namara Rugby managed to edge out Army FTG with a score of 14-7.

Dominion Brothers delivered an outstanding performance, overwhelming Yaro Chiefs 26-0, while Mataravua One secured a win against Taikita Brothers, finishing with a score of 29-12.

M. Recht Devo Babas recorded the largest victory of the round, dominating Senibiau Blues 34-0, and Uluinakau Babas also displayed strength with a 19-0 win over Namacuku Brothers.

Postshop Tabadamu defeated Survivor 14-5, while the match between Voda Green and 4Tribes Brothers ended in a thrilling 14-14 draw.

BLK Lavidi Brothers outperformed Dritabua with a score of 14-0, and Mataravua Two wrapped up the round with a convincing 19-0 win against Korolevu Blues.

With Round 2 set to commence later this afternoon, spectators can anticipate another exciting series of rugby matches.
