The Kings Road will be temporarily closed this Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Suva-bound lanes, specifically from the Naulu Road junction to the Adi Lady Davila Road junction. The Fiji Roads Authority stated that this closure is necessary to trim trees that are encroaching upon the pedestrian footpath, cycle lane, and bus shelter, creating safety hazards for both pedestrians and motorists. During the closure, traffic heading towards Suva will be redirected via Nakasi Road, Vavalagi Road, and Vishnu Deo Road. The FRA appreciates the public’s understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
