Telecom Fiji Teams Up for First-Ever Network Cybersecurity Solutions

Telecom Fiji (TFL) has entered into a strategic partnership with technology company Allot to provide the first network-based cybersecurity solutions for businesses in Fiji. According to TFL, this collaboration represents a significant advancement in enhancing the cybersecurity framework in Fiji.

Through this initiative, Telecom Fiji aims to offer unified and managed cybersecurity solutions that function seamlessly at the network level, ultimately providing businesses with an added layer of protection against various threats.

“This partnership between Telecom Fiji and Allot demonstrates our commitment to cultivating a secure and thriving digital environment in Fiji,” the statement noted. “With Allot Secure, Telecom Fiji enables businesses to confidently engage in the digital landscape, protecting valuable data and ensuring a safe user experience for both businesses and individuals across Fiji.”

Charles Goundar, CEO of Telecom Fiji, emphasized the increasing demand for advanced security solutions in today’s digital age. “Our partnership with Allot allows us to offer businesses a strong and dependable cybersecurity solution, protecting their operations and data from a wide array of cyber threats. The solution will protect businesses from a diverse range of cyber threats, including malware attacks that can disrupt operations, steal data, or compromise systems; ransomware that locks crucial data, demanding large ransoms for decryption; phishing attempts targeting login credentials and personal information; and malicious websites that may infect devices with malware or seek to capture data.
