Seventeen-year-old Ryan Singh delivered an outstanding performance, leading Rakiraki to a 2-1 victory against Northland Tailevu in the second Senior Division semifinal of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship in Lautoka today. As the youngest captain in the tournament, Singh, a Year 12 student at Penang Sangam College, played a crucial role in central defense, preventing the speedy Northland Tailevu team from finding the net.
Following a scoreless first half, Rakiraki intensified their game, scoring two goals from Sandeep Ram and veteran Asaeli Cobuta. With this win, Rakiraki will face Dreketi in the grand final tomorrow at 10 am.
