The Ba Golf Club is set to host a memorial tournament this Sunday at the FSC Golf Club to honor the late Ashneel Sharma and Mahendra Pratap Gosai. The event is sponsored by Sunil Sharma and his family from Rarawai, Ba, as well as Avinesh Datt Gosai and his family from Natadola, Sigatoka.
This tournament provides an opportunity for golfers to unite and commemorate these two individuals through their shared love of the sport. An entry fee of $20 covers afternoon refreshments, with registration starting at 11 am and a tee-off scheduled for 11:30 am.
Key roles for the day will be filled by Starters Sailesh Kumar, Ravinesh Chand, and Sanjay Sharma. The cards will be managed by Damon Chen, Dinesh Narayan, and Pradeep Chandra, with the Match Committee composed of Manish Patel, Joeli Dakunimata, Indra Warjan, and Rajen Singh.
Ba Golf Club captain Asish Kumar noted that the prize presentation will be handled by Avinesh Datt and Sunil Sharma, offering a poignant conclusion to the event with reflections on the lives of the two honored individuals.
