The Caritas Fiji Golf Day, organized by the charitable branch of the Catholic Church of Fiji, is scheduled for next month at the prestigious Denarau Golf Club in Nadi. This annual occasion, themed “Christmas in November,” promises a day filled with golfing, socializing, and charitable endeavors.
Ioane Sigarara, the Episcopal Vicar of Caritas Fiji, stated that the tournament will feature a team of four Scramble (Ambrose) format, designed to blend competition with enjoyment for all players.
Fiji Airways has stepped up as a major sponsor, offering an exciting grand prize of a round trip to San Francisco for the winning team. Several additional prizes will also be available, giving every participant a chance to win something.
Participants will be treated to a delightful late lunch and the prize-giving ceremony following a day of golf at the Denarau Golf Club.
Sigarara emphasized that all proceeds from the Caritas Fiji Golf Day will aid the charity’s vital work within the community. He added, “Whether you are an experienced golfer or a novice, this event provides a wonderful opportunity to have fun, make a positive difference, and enjoy a day with friends and colleagues.”
The event is set to take place on November 2.
