TD04F: Low Threat to Fiji as Conditions Calm

The Fiji Meteorological Service has reported that Tropical Disturbance 04F poses a very low risk of developing into a tropical cyclone while it remains in Fiji waters. As of 3 PM today, the disturbance was situated north of Vanua Levu and is progressing southeast.

Fiji Met also mentioned that the associated trough of low pressure is gradually moving over the northern regions of Fiji, bringing clouds and occasional showers to these areas through the evening. Fortunately, the heavy rain warning that was previously issued for the Northern division has been lifted. Additionally, the heavy rain alert for the Northern Lau group has also been cancelled.
