Tacirua Liquor Raid: 24-Year-Old Arrested for Selling Without License

A woman has been taken into custody for allegedly operating an unlicensed liquor business in Tacirua. Police officers from the Valelevu Police Station carried out a raid last night at a shop suspected of selling alcohol without the necessary permits, resulting in the seizure of over 100 cans and bottles of liquor. The 24-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and is currently in custody as investigations are ongoing. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu stated that illegal liquor sales often lead to other criminal activities, and law enforcement operations aim to disrupt these unlawful markets.
