Sydney Suva Claims Thrilling Victory in Sanatan World Cup Final!

Sydney Suva triumphed over Labasa with a score of 2-0 in an exciting final to claim the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup.

The match started with a goal from young talent Marcus Lal, who set the pace for Suva early on, despite missing a penalty later in the game. Labasa’s Anish Khem and Ashnil Raju worked tirelessly to bring their team back into contention, but Suva’s defense, anchored by goalkeeper Jerome Narayan along with Krishneel Dutt and Kishan Sami, held strong.

The victory was secured by former Nadi player Shivneel Pillay, who scored a magnificent goal midway through the second half. Labasa’s situation worsened when Melvin Mani received a red card, leaving his team with ten players.

In individual accolades, Narayan was awarded the Golden Glove, while Lal earned the Golden Boot for scoring seven goals throughout the tournament. Pranit Singh was recognized as the Most Valuable Player, and Sydney Suva was honored as the Best Disciplined Team.
