Tevita Loga, a 56-year-old businessman, is spearheading a bakery operation called Three T’s in Naruwai, Dama, Bua, which aims to support local communities through its business endeavors. Loga highlighted that the bakery has only operated for a month, but it has already garnered significant interest from the local population, particularly in Dama, where demand for their products is high.

The bakery is a family-managed enterprise that has established itself as a crucial resource for residents in the area, providing essential baked goods such as cream buns, cheese buns, pizzas, coconut rolls, and cakes. Given its remote location, the bakery has become vital, as access to quality bakery products from Labasa and Nabouwalu is limited, sometimes requiring journeys of over 200 kilometers.

Over the past three weeks, Loga has observed increasing sales, indicating the bakery’s potential for growth. He pointed out that approximately 130 families are active in the local market, with many people within the community relying on the bakery for their daily needs. The business is also serving customers from nearby villages, including Kubulau and Nasolo.

Despite the challenges posed by access issues, the bakery continues to thrive, with a commitment to providing top-notch service. Loga encourages the local population and youth to embrace opportunities and to stay positive, ensuring the bakery’s long-term sustainability. He believes that with collective effort and divine guidance, they can overcome any obstacles and succeed in their business ventures.
