The Vodafone Miss Sugar Festival is set to begin on Saturday, featuring six contestants competing for the prestigious crown.
During the festival’s launch, Artika Rina, manager of Vodafone Fiji’s Nadi shop, highlighted that the event is a celebration aimed at uniting people in a spirit of generosity.
“Today we gather not only to enjoy the start of the festivities but also to embrace a theme that holds great significance for us: ‘Charity for the Needy,’” Ms. Rina stated.
She emphasized the importance of supporting those who are experiencing hardships and challenges, saying it is a collective responsibility to help those in need. “At Vodafone, we believe that true success is measured not by what we achieve individually, but by what we accomplish together.”
Ms. Rina noted that the Vodafone Sugar Festival exemplifies this belief and serves as an opportunity for the community to unite in sharing resources and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
She expressed gratitude towards the festival’s organizers and volunteers for their hard work in bringing the event to life. “Your dedication and compassion are the driving forces behind our collective mission. Let’s celebrate with joy, knowing that our efforts are making an impact; together we can create a brighter future for everyone. Thank you for your support, and enjoy the upcoming Vodafone Sugar Festival.”
The Vodafone Sugar Festival will take place at the Carnival Grounds in Lautoka, running from this Saturday until October 5.
