Surf’s Up: Major Changes for the 2025 WSL Championship Tour!

The World Surf League (WSL) has unveiled its schedule for the 2025 Championship Tour (CT), which will showcase a combined men’s and women’s calendar featuring 11 regular-season events. The new season will see the inclusion of Abu Dhabi as a venue and the return of iconic locations such as Snapper Rocks, Lower Trestles, and Jeffreys Bay.

For the first time, the WSL Finals will take place at Fiji’s renowned Cloudbreak, where next year’s World Titles will be determined. This one-day, winner-take-all event will feature the top five surfers from both the men’s and women’s divisions competing in the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

Cloudbreak is famous for its challenging reef pass, offering long lefts and deep, heavy barrels along with critical sections that provide action-packed waves. This marks the first change in location for the WSL Finals since its inception in 2021.
