Surf’s Up: 2025 WSL Championships Set for Cloudbreak, Fiji!

The World Surf League (WSL) has announced the schedule for the 2025 Championship Tour (CT), featuring a total of 11 regular-season events for both men and women. Notably, the schedule includes the introduction of Abu Dhabi as a new location, along with the return of iconic sites like Snapper Rocks, Lower Trestles, and Jeffreys Bay.

A significant change for 2025 will be the hosting of the WSL Finals at Cloudbreak, Fiji, for the very first time. The finals, which will take place in a one-day, winner-takes-all format, will see the top five surfers from both the men’s and women’s divisions competing in this stunning Pacific location.

Cloudbreak, known for its challenging reef pass, offers surfers a long left with both deep barrels and critical section opportunities. This year’s change marks the first shift in the WSL Finals’ location since its inception back in 2021.
