President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere officially inaugurated the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro today. He expressed gratitude to the organizers, acknowledging the significant effort, commitment, and financial resources involved in hosting the World Tour Competition in Fiji.
“Like every other sport, surfing is motivated by passion. Over the next three days, we will come together to celebrate a sport that embodies the pure joy of riding waves and the deep connection between humans and nature, while also showcasing remarkable athleticism and grace,” he stated.
The President greeted the 12 women and 24 men representing 12 different countries and extended his best wishes for their success in the competition.
