Surfing’s World Titles Make Waves at Cloudbreak, Fiji!

The World Surf League (WSL) has unveiled the Championship Tour (CT) schedule for 2025, featuring a total of 11 regular-season events for both men and women. Notably, the schedule includes the introduction of Abu Dhabi as a new stop and the return of iconic surf locations such as Snapper Rocks, Lower Trestles, and Jeffreys Bay.

In a significant change, the 2025 WSL Finals will take place at Cloudbreak, Fiji, marking the first time this renowned venue will host the finals to determine the World Champions. The event will utilize a one-day, winner-take-all format in which the top five surfers from both the men’s and women’s divisions will compete in this tropical paradise.

Cloudbreak is famous for its challenging reef pass, offering a long left that is well-known for its powerful barrels and technical sections. This year will be the first shift in the location of the WSL Finals since its inception in 2021.

– Stop No. 5 – Bells Beach, Victoria, Australia: April 18 – 28
– Stop No. 6 – Snapper Rocks, Queensland, Australia: May 3 – 13
– Stop No. 7 – Margaret River, Western Australia, Australia: May 17 – 27*
– Stop No. 8 – Lower Trestles, San Clemente, California, USA: June 9 – 17
– Stop No. 9 – Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: June 21 – 29
– Stop No. 10 – Jeffreys Bay, South Africa: July 11 – 20
– Stop No. 11 – Teahupo’o, Tahiti, French Polynesia: August 7 – 16**
