The future role of acting Director of Public Prosecutions John Rabuku remains uncertain, following the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that he is unqualified for the position. Attorney-General Graham Leung clarified that any decisions regarding Rabuku’s status are in the hands of the Judicial Services Commission (JSC), a Constitutional body that operates independently of any individual or authority. Enquiries have been made to JSC chair and acting Chief Justice Salesi Temo, however, replies have yet to be received.
