Social Democratic Liberal Party’s (SODELPA) Acting President Roko Apenito Kolikata has died following a brief illness over the weekend.
The Party released a statement expressing their sorrow: “It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our Social Democratic Liberal Party Acting President Roko Apenito Kolikata Na Vunivalu Taukei Nacibawale ena vanua o Naibati.”
“Roko Apenito passed away suddenly this past weekend and his passing has brought great grief and loss to the SODELPA community at large.”
Roko Apenito was a dynamic member and executive of the Party, playing a significant role in its operations.
He was appointed Acting President after the death of Party President Ratu Manoa Roragaca earlier this year.
