Longtime state lawyer Nancy Tikoisuva has been appointed Acting Director of Public Prosecutions. This was confirmed by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in a statement this evening.
Ms. Tikoisuva expressed her enthusiasm for this new journey and encouraged the staff to continue striving for excellence.
The new Acting Director of Public Prosecutions replaces John Rabuku, who was removed from the role following a Supreme Court ruling that found him ineligible. Mr. Rabuku received his letter of revocation from President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere earlier this week.
