A 24-year-old man is currently in police custody at the Totogo Police Station in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man in Suva City on Saturday night. The incident occurred during a dispute that escalated after the two men exchanged heated words, allegedly resulting in the suspect stabbing the victim.
Emergency services rushed the victim to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted but unfortunately later succumbed to his injuries. A post-mortem examination is scheduled for today to determine the exact cause of death.
