Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Inspiring Fiji Visit: A Call for Peace and Compassion

Around 200 individuals gathered at Nadi International Airport yesterday to greet the acclaimed spiritual and humanitarian figure, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He established the Art of Living Foundation in 1981 and has since disseminated spiritual teachings to over 500 million people across 180 nations.

During his visit, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar plans to engage with devotees and hold discussions with national leaders. Hari Punja, Chairman of Art of Living Fiji, emphasized that the Gurudev is in Fiji to propagate his message of peace, well-being, and service to humanity.

“His teachings have influenced millions globally, encouraging them to live with compassion, mindfulness, and a sense of community,” said Mr. Punja.

Rekha Khunteta, the international director for the Art of Living Foundation, noted that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has received numerous accolades for his efforts in global peace, conflict resolution, and the promotion of human values.

The spiritual leader conducted a Laxmi Havan ceremony at Churchill Park in Lautoka yesterday and is scheduled to meet President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere today. He will also attend a cultural and wisdom evening at the Vodafone Arena tomorrow and will hold a session with USP students on Monday.
