Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Fiji Visit: A Journey of Peace and Humanity

Approximately 200 individuals gathered at Nadi International Airport yesterday to welcome the globally recognized spiritual and humanitarian leader, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Known for founding the Art of Living Foundation in 1981, he has imparted spiritual teachings that have impacted over 500 million individuals across 180 nations.

During his visit, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar plans to engage with devotees and followers, as well as hold discussions with national leaders. Hari Punja, Chairman of Art of Living Fiji, mentioned that the Gurudev is in Fiji to convey his message of peace, well-being, and humanitarian service. He emphasized that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s teachings have inspired millions worldwide to embrace compassion, mindfulness, and a community spirit.

Rekha Khunteta, the international director for the Art of Living Foundation, noted that the spiritual leader’s efforts in promoting global peace, conflict resolution, and human values have earned him numerous accolades.

Yesterday, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar conducted a Laxmi Havan at Churchill Park in Lautoka and is scheduled to meet with President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere today. He is also set to participate in a cultural and wisdom evening at the Vodafone Arena on Sunday and will hold a session with students at the University of the South Pacific on Monday.
