The task force arrested the first suspect after receiving reports of a robbery in Vatuwaqa, where thieves stole a safe and various electronic items from a business in the Lalita Bhindi Sub-Division. Following the alert, officers quickly located and arrested one suspect.
In a separate incident, a woman walking on Gaji Road was reportedly robbed late Saturday night. The victim pursued the suspect, and nearby officers responded, allowing them to successfully apprehend the suspect, who was then taken into custody at the Raiwaqa Police Station. Investigations into both robberies are ongoing.
