Stephen Swanepoel of South Africa was named the amateur champion at the Coastal Rental Natadola Open Golf 2024, finishing with a score of 76. Melbourne’s Adish Kumar secured the second position.
In the professional division, Roneel Parkash, assistant manager of Denarau Golf Club, claimed victory over Sam Lee, who is currently based in South Korea. Parkash expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Good feeling going back to Natadola Bay. Fiji Open next.”
Avinesh Datt, the manager of Natadola Golf Course, noted the excellent weather that graced the tournament. He extended his gratitude to sponsors for their support and promised that next year’s event would be even better. Datt also acknowledged the ground staff for maintaining the course in excellent condition and praised the clubhouse operations and pro-shop staff for their efforts.
Additional awards presented included Suruj Maharaj for Men’s Overall Nett with a score of 69, while Jack Butler claimed the Men’s A Grade title with a score of 72. The Men’s B Grade winner was Ben Herter with a score of 71, and Rajeev Patel took home the title in the Men’s C Grade with a score of 76. In the women’s categories, Amy Subam was named the Ladies Gross Winner with a score of 93, and Susie Yee won the Ladies Overall Nett with a score of 86.
