The social welfare allowance payments for this month have been postponed due to the transition into the government’s new financial year.
In a statement, the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection highlighted their efforts to expedite the process, aiming to ensure that all recipients receive their payments by this Friday.
The ministry reassured that monthly payments will return to the usual schedule starting in September.
“We understand the significance of these payments to our beneficiaries and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the statement read.
“We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work diligently to resolve all outstanding payments within this week.”
