The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection has announced a delay in Social Welfare allowance payments for August due to the transition to the government’s new financial year.
The Ministry expresses apologies to all recipients for the inconvenience and requests their patience as efforts are made to process all pending payments within the week.
They are working efficiently to ensure that all allowances are disbursed by the end of business on Tuesday, August 6.
Starting in September, regular monthly payments will resume according to the usual schedule.
