Sebastian Singh, known as “The Sniper,” is set to face “King” Tonga Tongotongo this Saturday in a highly anticipated match for the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title at Prince Charles Park. Singh expresses confidence in his preparation and the hard work his team has invested leading up to the fight.

“We’ve trained rigorously for this challenge, fully aware of what it’s going to require. It will be tough, but we’ve left no stone unturned,” Singh stated. He recognizes the unique pressure of fighting on home turf, especially in front of his community.

“It’s always a different experience fighting at home,” he said. “Having the support from the kids I mentor, my community, and family is my motivation.” This fight is especially significant for Singh as he aims to secure a title for his father, who has been dealing with health issues.

“This fight isn’t just for me; it’s for my dad, my team, and all the kids I work with,” he added. Strategically, Singh plans to dismantle his opponent with the goal of achieving a stoppage in the later rounds of the matchup.

“I’ve faced tougher fighters with better records. This is just another fight. We’ve put in the hard work, and I trust it will reflect in the ring,” Singh expressed confidently. Additionally, he looks forward to the event being graced by boxing icon Sonny Bill Williams, who will serve as the chief guest.

“I’ve previously fought on events organized by Sonny’s team in Australia, and I hope to impress again to create more international opportunities,” Singh mentioned. Despite the hype and support surrounding the fight, he remains focused on the immediate challenge ahead.

“I’m not looking beyond this fight. Right now, my entire focus is on defeating Tonga. After that, I’ll be ready for whatever comes next,” Singh concluded.

Fans from Fiji and beyond are eagerly anticipating the bout as Singh aims to achieve victory, not only for himself but also for his family, supporters, and the nation.
