Fiji’s cruiserweight boxer, Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh, is feeling optimistic and well-prepared for his forthcoming IBO Asia Pacific Cruiserweight title bout against Tonga’s King Tonga Tongotongo, organized by South Pacific Boxing Promotion.

Singh reports that he is not feeling overwhelmed despite the challenging competition. While he admits to experiencing some pre-fight nerves, he draws motivation from the chance to compete in front of his local supporters, particularly the children he mentors.

Together with his team, Singh has been training diligently in anticipation of the fight and is eager to enter the ring. “We’ve been training hard; it’s fight week now, and I’m looking forward to jumping into the ring,” Singh stated.

He recognizes the difficulty of the match ahead, acknowledging the considerable effort his team has invested. “I have a tough fight, and I’m not taking away from the hard work our team has put in. Come fight night, I should perform at that level, and with a bit of luck, we will walk away with the victory.”

Singh is confident in his ability to face and conquer challenging opponents, stating, “I’ve fought big fights before; the nerves come from competing against such significant opponents. I can’t wait to get in the ring and do my job.”

Bringing his experience from fighting internationally, Singh is eager to demonstrate his skills and determination before his home crowd.
