Shop N Save has reaffirmed its dedication to the Fiji Police Force rugby team by sponsoring them for the third consecutive year as they prepare for the upcoming Sukuna Bowl competition next month.
Mesake Waqa, the Assistant Commissioner of Police and president of the Fiji Police rugby team, expressed his appreciation for the continued backing from Shop N Save, stressing the significance of thorough preparation and the need to respect their opponents in the tournament.
The Sukuna Bowl is a much-anticipated event that fosters a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie between the police and military forces. “It is indeed a challenge for the forces, and I know our colleagues from the military will also be eager to maintain their hold,” Waqa stated.
He added, “Even though the Navy lost the Escott Shield over the weekend, I am confident that they will come fully prepared for the Sukuna Bowl.”
George Brown, Shop N Save’s Security Consultant, formally presented the sponsorship, emphasizing the company’s commitment to aiding local organizations and fulfilling its social responsibilities to the community. He expressed gratitude to the Police Force for their efforts in ensuring community safety and extended best wishes for the team’s success in the tournament.
The Sukuna Bowl is scheduled for November 8.
