A 28-year-old man has been charged with the rape of his 5-year-old niece, according to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). This individual was among 10 people facing a total of 25 sexual offence charges in September.
The ODPP reported that there were 10 victims last month, with eight of them being under the age of 18. Additionally, there were six cases where the victims and the accused were related.
In another case, a 29-year-old man was charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault involving his 15-year-old niece. Furthermore, a 46-year-old man faces two counts of rape concerning his 41-year-old wife.
In another instance, a 20-year-old man was charged with multiple offences including four counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of indecent assault, and one count of sexual assault against his 17-year-old cousin. Similarly, a 20-year-old man has been charged with the rape of his 10-year-old male cousin, while a 25-year-old man has been accused of the rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy.
In other incidents, a 29-year-old man was charged with attempted rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl from his village, and a 20-year-old man was charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl from his village.
