Three teenagers are set to appear in Suva Magistrates Court today, facing charges related to the alleged rape of a 13-year-old boy in Lami last month. The accused include two juveniles, aged 13 and 15, along with an 18-year-old.
The incidents reportedly occurred at a home belonging to the victim’s relative towards the end of August, where the trio allegedly coerced the victim into performing sexual acts. The victim’s mother filed a report at the Lami Police Station earlier this week.
The three individuals have been formally charged with rape and will make their appearance in court today.
