Several male students at a secondary school in Cakaudrove are currently under investigation for the alleged rape of a fellow male student in a school dormitory. The Divisional Police Commander for the Northern region, Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka, confirmed that the investigation is in its early stages.
Baledrokadroka did not provide additional details regarding the case but noted that such incidents highlight the negative consequences students may encounter when unsupervised or under certain influences. Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew has been informed about the alleged incident. The individuals involved, including both the victim and the accused, are between the ages of 14 to 17 years.
