Suva Grammar School edged out Marist Brothers High School in a thrilling Vodafone Deans U15 Finals match, securing a 31-24 victory.

The game commenced with Suva Grammar School (SGS) taking charge, scoring a converted try early on to establish a 7-0 lead. Marist Brothers High School (MBHS) quickly answered back, leveling the score at 7-all with a fantastic try.

In the 18th minute, MBHS pulled ahead by scoring another converted try, making it 14-7. However, SGS fought diligently and responded with a try and conversion, bringing the score to 14-all.

MBHS regained control with an unconverted try, pushing their lead to 19-14. Yet, SGS was relentless and evened the game again, scoring another try to tie it at 19-all by halftime.

As the second half began, MBHS managed an unconverted try in the 7th minute, taking a 24-19 lead. Nonetheless, SGS was not finished, as they struck back with a converted try in the 11th minute, flipping the score in their favor at 26-24.

In the final moments of the match, SGS clinched their hard-earned win with one last converted try, sealing the outcome at 31-24.
