Similarly, shop owners on Cumming Street in Suva had to close their businesses due to overwhelming sewage odors, underscoring the urgent need for improved waste management systems across Fiji.
WAF has emphasized the importance of community cooperation in addressing these pressing environmental problems. They have urged residents to be more mindful of what they dispose of into their wastewater systems to avoid similar incidents in the future.
