The Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) recently achieved recognition by winning four awards at the Fiji Human Resource Institute Awards 2024. Raj Sharma, the CEO of SCGF, expressed pride in the organization’s accomplishment of receiving silver awards in every category during its inaugural year of participation in the FHRI Awards.
Sharma emphasized the organization’s commitment to employee well-being, engagement, and development, promoting a business culture that prioritizes transparency, integrity, innovation, and collaboration. He noted that SCGF’s human resources strategies focus on creating a supportive and motivating workplace, which has led to increased employee satisfaction and reduced turnover rates.
He highlighted that the ongoing assessment and adaptation of their practices are essential for sustaining an engaged and productive workforce, consisting of 35 motivated team members dedicated to building the institution’s brand.
