The final result of 17-13 secured Savura a place in the finals, marking a significant milestone for the team. Inoke Sucucoro, the team manager, praised the players for their efforts and acknowledged the fierce competition against Eastern Saints. He highlighted the importance of this match in preparing the team for the upcoming final, appreciating their game plan and determination.

Sucucoro stated, “It was a great preparation for the boys; we knew it wouldn’t be easy, especially heading into such an important quarter-final. We have put in the hard work, and we really proved ourselves in the competition. It’s been a long time since we made it this far; last year we reached the quarters and didn’t progress, so this is a major achievement for the boys.”

Sucucoro also expressed appreciation for the strong turnout of supporters and looked forward to an even larger crowd during the final. Meanwhile, Covenant Red narrowly defeated Marist OB 23-22 in the Koroturaga semi-final.
