Samoa Shines in Pacific Nations Cup Comeback

Samoa made a strong comeback in the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup, defeating Tonga 43-17 in their second match at Apia Park today.

Following a disappointing 42-16 loss to Fiji last week in Suva, Samoa turned things around with an impressive display at home, showcasing improved discipline and commitment from the players throughout the challenging match.

The hosts dominated the first half, leading 17-0 at halftime, and continued to assert their control in the second half, despite Tonga managing to score some points.

Samoa will now await the outcome of the Fiji-Tonga match next week to determine their chances of qualifying for the semifinals of the Pacific Nations Cup.
