The Ba Rugby Union (BRU) is set to launch the Ba Industries Limited Tikina Championship on September 21. In a recent announcement, BRU urged all participating teams to ensure they are familiar with World Rugby regulations.
The organization emphasized that all managers, coaches, and players should understand the rules governing the technical zone, which allows for only four individuals: a maximum of two medically trained personnel and two designated water carriers who may also serve as assistant coaches. Notably, the head coach cannot be included among the four individuals allowed in the technical zone, and no other players or personnel are permitted in that area.
For the upcoming 2024 Tikina Championship, BRU will implement the World Rugby Law changes introduced in July. These modifications include new rules concerning offside positions relative to the kicker, the prohibition of the crocodile roll maneuver, and the elimination of scrum options when a free kick is awarded.
