Ba Rugby Union is set to launch the Ba Industries Limited Tikina Championship on September 21. In an announcement, BRU is urging teams from the Tikina to familiarize themselves with the regulations set by World Rugby.
The BRU emphasized the importance of understanding the rules governing the technical zone, which allows only four individuals to be present: a maximum of two medically trained personnel and two designated water carriers, who may also serve as assistant coaches. However, the head coach cannot be included in this group, and no other personnel or players are allowed in the technical zone.
The upcoming Tikina Championship will also implement the World Rugby Law changes introduced in July. These changes include new rules on offside plays in front of a kicker, the prohibition of the crocodile roll, and the removal of the scrum option following a free kick.
