Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently boosted the morale of the Macuata Rugby Union by presenting them with new training equipment. The excitement among team members was evident as they received the gear, but Saukuru conveyed a deeper message beyond the physical items.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” Saukuru stated, highlighting the potential for rugby to create pathways to success beyond Fiji.
He further encouraged the youth, saying, “To all our young people, remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and keep aiming high.”
