Residents in the Labasa area are informed about temporary road closures scheduled for Monday, October 7, and Thursday, October 10.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kasiano Vusonilawe, from the Fiji Police Force’s Operations Division, stated that these closures are necessary for the rehearsals and the actual Fiji Day celebrations. On Monday, the road at the junction of Y-Corner and Park Street will close at 9 a.m. for the dry run, while on Thursday, the same roads will be closed starting at 6 a.m.
During these periods, the Fiji Police Force requests the public’s patience and understanding. Traffic officers will be present to help manage traffic flow.
