Residents in the Labasa area are advised of temporary road closures scheduled for Monday, October 7, and Thursday, October 10.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kasiano Vusonilawe, the Director of Operations for the Fiji Police Force, announced that these closures are necessary for the preparations and execution of Fiji Day celebrations. The roads at the junction of Y-corner and Park Street will be closed at 9 AM on Monday for a dry run, and again from 6 AM on Thursday during the actual celebration.
The Fiji Police Force urges the public to exercise patience and understanding during these times. Traffic officers will be present to assist with traffic management.
