Rivalry Ignites: Ravalaca vs Haider Showdown On the Horizon

The rivalry between Mika Ravalaca and Ubayd Haider, previously Nathan Singh, intensified during the Bluewater Boxing Promotion event last Saturday.

Ravalaca made a striking return from Australia earlier that day, entering the ring with a challenge for Haider to stop avoiding their long-awaited match. “He (Haider) is demanding $30,000, what is that? I am here to fight; this is my life,” Ravalaca declared, pointing to the canvas.

Haider, present in the audience, quickly joined Ravalaca in the ring, sparking a heated exchange between the two. Their confrontation escalated, leading referees and judges to intervene and separate the fighters.

As Ravalaca was escorted out, Haider took the opportunity to speak to the crowd. He revealed that a fight contract had already been sent to Ravalaca’s manager in Australia and urged him to accept the terms. “I know your manager Gus Wahab. We have sent him a contract and we are waiting for his response. It’s all on you now. You gonna move, boy,” Haider asserted.

Haider has previously demanded a $30,000 purse for the bout, which adds to the ongoing drama. Meanwhile, Ravalaca’s team indicated that they would reconsider their position if Haider loses his upcoming IBO title bout scheduled for October, as Ravalaca prefers not to fight an opponent coming off a loss.

This public exchange further heightens the anticipation for what could become a high-stakes match, as both fighters and their teams work through the details of this potential clash.
