Sonia Prasad, a nurse by profession, was crowned Miss Vodafone Rakiraki 2024 during the recent Vodafone Rakiraki Carnival. Sponsored by the Rakiraki Market Vendors Association, Prasad emphasized the importance of staying drug-free, urging the community of Ra to refrain from drug use, citing the adverse effects it has on individuals and families.
At the age of 25, Prasad focused her advocacy on the theme “breaking chains, building dreams – a commitment to drug-free Fiji.”
