Rewa’s Dominant Finale: A 3-1 Triumph Over Ba in Fiji Premier League

Champions Rewa concluded their Digicel Fiji Premier League season with an impressive 3-1 victory over Ba at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Namosau. The match was tied 1-1 at halftime, but the Delta Tigers surged ahead in the second half. Epeli Valevou opened the scoring for Rewa, while Penaia Nagatalevu equalized for Ba.

Shortly after the break, Asivorosi Rabo gave Rewa the lead, and the game took a tumultuous turn with three red cards issued. Rewa’s captain Setareki Hughes, Ba’s goalkeeper Misiwani Nairube, and Mitieli Naivro were all sent off for misconduct. Tevita Waranaivalu sealed Ba’s fate by scoring a penalty just before the match ended.
