Sydney Rewa defeated New Zealand 3-0 in the second quarterfinal match of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup, held at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex today. Under the guidance of Fiji assistant coach Marika Rodu, Rewa dominated the match from the start and went into halftime with a 1-0 lead, courtesy of a penalty converted by Vinit Chand.
In the second half, Aman Singh and Alvin Singh added two impressive goals, capitalizing on mistakes made by Nadroga. Sydney Rewa’s lineup included notable players such as Aakash Sharma, Delon Shankar, and Madhwan Goundar, while Nadroga, coached by O’Neill Chand, featured Shahil Dave, Pawan Singh, Akshay Shandil, and Jeshal Kumar.
