The match was level at 1-1 at halftime, with Rewa’s Epeli Valevou scoring and Ba’s Penaia Nagatalevu finding the net for the hosts. Rewa surged ahead shortly after the break with a goal from Asivorosi Rabo. The game took a tumultuous turn with three red cards issued for indiscipline, sending off Rewa Captain Setareki Hughes, Ba goalkeeper Misiwani Nairube, and Mitieli Naivro.
Tevita Waranaivalu sealed the win for Rewa by converting a penalty just before the match concluded.
