Extra Supermarket Rewa FC had an impressive 7-0 victory over Sigatoka Electric/Nadroga Auto Marine Upholstery Works Nadroga in the opening match of the 2024 FMF IDC Super Premier Division at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Under the guidance of coach Roderick Singh, Rewa showcased strong attacking football in the first half, netting four goals. John Orobulu scored two goals, while Asivorosi Rabo and Epeli Valevou each contributed a single goal, giving Rewa a commanding 4-0 lead at halftime.
The rain during the match turned out to be beneficial for Rewa, as they adapted well to the wet conditions. They maintained their dominant performance in the second half, with Orobulu earning a man-of-the-match honor by completing a hat trick, securing a comfortable win for his team.
